I recently stayed in a King Room for 2 nights. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of downtown Banff, making it super easy to pop in and out for shopping or dining. The fantastic breakfast spot, Tooloulou, is just across the street. I appreciated the use of a microwave down the hall, which was handy for warming up snacks. The room itself was clean, with soft towels and bedding, but it felt cramped. My biggest disappointment was the hidden pet fees. I found out the hard way while traveling with my two small dogs. No air conditioning in the room was surprising, especially since it was quite warm during my stay. Overall, it served its purpose, but I think I’d look for somewhere else next time due to the cost and limited amenities.

The stay was meant to explore the local attractions, and the ease of access to various restaurants was a significant plus. I really appreciated having a designated underground parking space, especially since it can fill up quickly around here. The room was generally clean and decently renovated, and I found the bed to be quite comfortable. However, the noise level within the building was noticeable, and I could hear conversations from other guests, which was a bit distracting.

central location, easy access to shopping, secure parking
Rooms are cramped!!! No air conditioning and windows don’t open, leading to stuffy conditions!!! Old shower setup can leak and cause wet floors!!! Staff communication needs improvement!!!

Great location but some quirks
The location is unbeatable for exploring Banff, with friendly staff ready to help. I loved having a microwave available on the third floor for snacks after a long day out.
However, the room was quite warm with no air conditioning, making sleep a bit uncomfortable. The noise from the street was also noticeable, especially at night when the bar nearby got lively.

The hotel is situated right in the heart of Banff, making it incredibly convenient to explore the local shops and dining options.
Our room was quite warm with no A/C, and we had some issues with the shower that led to water leaking onto the floor.
